Sport Fishing

Between the months of October & April, Strait Shooter fishes the reef system around Port Phillip Heads, and ventures into Bass Strait when conditions permit.

Catches on these trips include Snapper, Whiting, Sweep, King George Whiting, Trevally, Kingfish, Bass Strait Flathead, Calamari, Shark and other reef fish too numerous to list.

5 hour trips depart Sorrento Pier at 7:00 am and 12:30 pm.

Adults $90 Child (12 and under) $70.

All 5hr trips are fully inclusive of all rods, Bait, Tackle, tea & coffee and a sausage sizzle BBQ. 8 & 10hr exclusive trips include a salad and BBQ lunch.

Port Phillip Bay Snapper Charters

You can charter the boat specifically for a 6 or 8hr Snapper trip and be target specific on the famous Port Phillip Bay snapper between October and February.

These charters are available for group bookings only.

6hr evening charter4pm – 10pm midweek only

8hr early morning charter 4am – 12-00 noon every day

On most occasions we produce snapper in good numbers, but, fishing is fishing.

Portland Tuna Fishing

Between April & July, Day trips depart Portland Harbour Marina Jetty @ 7am, $300 per person. Max 10 persons.

Target species, Southern Bluefin Tuna, Albacore, Blue Eye, Pink Ling, Harpuka, Snapper, Morwong, Kingfish and Sharks.

Bacon and egg rolls for Breakfast, Catered lunch, morning tea and coffee provided. Fish are cleaned, bagged and refrigerated for your convenience.

Alcohol:
Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted.

What to Bring:
Fishing licence, warm clothing, waterproof coat, pants, wet weather boots, camera, hat, sunscreen, snacks and drinks and seasick tabs.
